I recently scouted a great parking garage on 44th between Vanderbilt and Madison. It’s right next to Grand Central Station, and was built quite a while ago.
It shares some iconic Grand Central-esque features, from the brick in the walls to the zig-zagging arched roof over the ramp.
UPDATE: CNN updates it’s front page article to REGULAR FLU HAS KILLED THOUSANDS SINCE JANUARY. The article is a MUCH more level-headed view of Swine Flu, the realities, the concerns, and the comparisons to regular flu. Better late than never, kudos to CNN from Scouting NY.

Sorry for the lack of posts – filming has been extremely hectic recently, and I haven’t had time to update. Just wanted to post this quick – I was in the lobby of an extremely expensive, very modern/chic downtown apartment building, and this struck me as one of the dumber plant pots I’ve seen in my life.
Yesterday, the Empire State building was lit up green for Earth Day. Tonight (Thursday, April 23), it will also be green, but for an entirely different reason, ironically celebrating an event that could have never occurred on a clean planet…
