Listening on Leonard Lopate….looked you up…Great SITE! Keep it up.

  • Enjoying you on Leonard Lopate. Love that you have prepared your site for new visitors. Good move!

  • Excellent appearance on the Lopate Show. I am a 53 year old native New York who really does look and pay close attention. My heart breaks a little every time a beautiful theater or bank becomes a CVS or Duane Reade. For those of us who love NYC, we guard these jewels in our memories. There used to be two extraordinary movie palaces on West 96 and B’way…the Riverside and the Riviera. In fact, all of upper Bway had great cinemas. FYI, there is a brownstone on 94th near Columbus that is constantly used for locations in films. I am sure you know it. I have been an extra in a few NY films, including Taxi Driver and The Eyes of Laura Mars. Cheers, Fred

Thank you for a great interview last night. It kept me awake till the late hours, it definitely was an inspiration to young film makers. My commute was beautiful this morning, noticed many different details, that have never caught my eye before. I have always thought that I wanted to get into locations, but after listening to the interview I know that I want to get into scouting locations!
Thanks for the inspiration, and new direction. Always needed.

  • Hi, nice article. Scotch, Whiskey, Bourbon… I just love it all! The good kinds are delicious and they don’t need anything to mix with. The hangovers aren’t fun, so I usually use my hangover remedies to help – check them out! Anyhow… cool site… I’m subscribed to your feed now so I’ll be checking in regularly!
