The Best Hospital Ever
Posted by Scout on February 19th, 2013
A few weeks ago, I was scouting a long defunct hospital when I noticed a whiteboard that still had doctors’ names written on it.

It’s pretty common to find interesting bits and pieces like this in old hospitals, left over from when they were in operation.
Then I looked at it a little closer – this must have been some hospital:

Ha, definitely left over from a previous film shoot – I’d love to know which so I can keep an eye out for it!

You have the greatest job!! Love your site.
No Dr.Frankenstein?
Dr. Jan Itor must have been sick that day!
I’m guessing it’s from a 2011 short film called “Chin Up” for which (according to IMDb) Tara Pavoni was the Production Designer, and Marcus Slabine was the key art assistant. The synopsis suggests that it may have been filmed in a hospital: “A woman preparing for jaw surgery is offered an additional cosmetic procedure and must decide whether or not to alter her appearance.”
Doogie Howser MD?
Before reading the rest of your comments, I had to do a double take on that list…hilarious!
All 4 Ghostbusters (Peter Venkman, Egon Spengler, Ray Stantz, Winston Zeddmore) Doogie Howser, Hannibal Lector and RATCHET from Transformers! Someone was definitely a fan of the 80s!
Anynoe know the bottom two names?
Actually I think Ratchet would be the nurse from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. It does say Nurse/Doctors at the top of the whiteboard…
Right but wrong…she was Nurse Ratched, so it’s probably named after Ratchet the transformer who in turn was named after her
