Tribeca into Soho

In my opinion, Tribeca is one of the more boring places to live in New York – everything seems to close early, almost as an extension of the Financial District, which is too bad because there’s a lot of fantastic old buildings that have been converted into lofts and office space. Some people still have Halloween decorations out, which I’m a fan of:

There’s a very skinny alley called Staple Street, which feels totally alien to the city. Among other eccentricities there is this connecting bridge between two buildings. Note the bird hanging out.

I scouted a firehouse for our film, which has been used in numerous films, including Ghostbusters. Through the side window, you can see the sign for Ghostbusters 2, which was given to the firehouse as a gift.

I finished the day in Soho, where I noticed this cute turtle hanging out under a grate on Spring Street.
