Since I started this site several months ago, Scouting NY has become way more popular than I could have imagined. We get thousands of hits each week, have hundreds of feed subscribers, are regularly linked to by such popular sites as Gothamist and Curbed, and have even been featured on NPR’s The Brian Lehrer Show.

I’ve decided to accept advertising for the site. I initially turned down queries for advertising in favor of Google ads, but I’ve been disappointed in the type of content that seems to show up. While links to discount travel sites and cheap Cialis vendors might interest a small percentage of ScoutingNY’s readers, there’s a much larger portion that is not being catered to.

ScoutingNY.com is an extremely current blog. It represents an eye that is constantly trained on the New York City of today, and could be a valuable tool for those looking to reach a very contemporary audience.

If you are interested, please contact us at nycscout@gmail.com with the type of service you offer, the level of advertising exposure you’d like, and a price you feel comfortable with. We’re pretty much open to anything at this point, budget- or concept-wise. If you have an upcoming event that only requires a few weeks of advertising, for example, we’d be happy to work with you. On the other hand, if you’re interested in building a site association with a brand (real estate company, car rental agency, etc.), we could also be of service.
