As many of you – but not all! – figured out, the pictures from my first trip to New York were actually taken at the NY, NY Casino in Las Vegas (apparently, the biggest give away was how clean the city looked).
I wasn’t able to get out to Vegas to take the pictures myself, but photographer Julie Ray did a fantastic job shooting the place for me like a wide-eyed 16 year old would. Special thanks to Julie for helping out – I wanted to post a few pictures from her portfolio to show she can do a bit more than take touristy snapshots of a fake New York. This is definitely my favorite…
A glamor shot at its most steam-punkiest:
She also does more traditional work:
If you’re in need of a Las Vegas photographer, definitely look Julie up on her website.
Happy April Fools!
