Can We Help This Girl Feel Good About NYC Again?
I was robbed for the first time about three years ago. It happened at about 6AM – I know, because that’s when I woke up and heard someone opening my bedroom door. At the time, I was living in a loft with other people, and, half-asleep, figured it was just someone drunkenly coming into the…
A Fountain In Salem, And A Note About Preservation
A ton of people retweeted/Facebooked my post about Express taking over 1552 Broadway, and I can’t thank you enough. There’s no question the message was received by the right people – let’s hope they listen. But this sort of situation isn’t unique to New York. Rubin Art Museum – Statue of buddha
my first thought was a statue, but I went to the Met. But I can’t figure out of what because the photo creeps me out! Eeps.

Definitely a type of copper or malachite. Probably in a museum because a piece like that would highly valuable. I have a small sample of the similar mineral
The Statue of Liberty’s underarm hair? (she IS French)
I live in the south, but it is copper wire. Looks like a cable that has weathered outside for sometime.
The Statue of Liberty’s underarm hair? (she IS French)
If she were American she wouldn’t have underarms hair. Or, tragically, another sort of body hair 🙁
